Downloadable products
Each Healthcare A2Z downloadable product is supplied in the WinZip format.
WinZip compresses files to save space. It allows you to compress a single file or compress many files into a single file. This makes downloading files from the Internet faster and allows us to put more files on distribution media, such as a CD. Our zipped files end with the .zip extension.
For PC machines with Windows 2000 or earlier
Your machine requires software to uncompress a WinZip file. You can use the free evaluation version of WinZip available at: www.winzip.com/ddchomea.htm or purchase a full version of WinZip.
If you already have the appropriate software, right-click the zipped file, select WinZip, and then select where you want the file to be extracted to. Selecting Extract to folder path creates a folder in your current location, for example, the Desktop.
If using the evaluation version, click Use Evaluation Version. A folder appears with the same name as the .zip file. Double-click the folder to view and use its contents.
For PC machines with Windows XP or Vista
1. Double-click the zipped file.
2. In the window that opens, click Extract all files. The Extraction Wizard opens.
3. Click Next.
4. In the Select a Destination panel, select the location where you want the folder to be placed, for example, the Desktop. Click Next.
5. In the Extraction Complete panel, select Show extracted files. Check Finish. The unzipped files appear in a new window.
CD products
All our CD products contain a simple interface (e.g. BoosterPACK.exe) which can be used to view or copy any of the CD's resources to your PC. Just insert the CD into your CD or DVD drive. The interface should launch automatically. If not, you can open 'My Computer', locate your CD or DVD drive and right-click again. Select 'Explore' to open the CD. Locate the .exe file and double-click to launch.
Alternatively you can explore the CD and open the relevant resources in various formats such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat PDF.
